Welcome to Sarah Graham's Blog!
The purposes of this blog are to maintain consistent communication between teacher, parent, educational assistants and student, and to share work samples with each member of the educational team.
Here are some preliminary expectations:
It is expected that Sarah will share the physical activities that she has done and the amount of time spent in total by the end of each week. Sarah will have access to this blog and the choice of posting everyday or at the end of every week.
Parent and educational assistants are encouraged to share Sarah's work every week. The work samples do not have to be completed. They can be work in progress to demonstrate Sarah's skills and knowledge.
Please note that the school's expectations are as follows:
- there should be a significant amount of marked work samples in place within three weeks of major funding dates (end of September is the first one),
- by the 2nd week of October, there must be marked work samples and
- a communication trail must be evident.
By the end of September, I expect at least one work sample from each subject. Sarah should have written at least 3 posts.
Other expectations will be in place as everyone adjusts to this change in communication and programming.
Furthermore, feedback and responses from everyone about any post are most welcome.
I thank you all for your patience during this transition period and look forward to another successful year as we all support Sarah and each other.
